The larger of the two halls: parquet and marble under a white-and-gold coffered ceiling, dozens of crystal chandeliers, tall arched windows and, at the far end, a curved double staircase. The former website called it “an immersion in classical elegance”. For large weddings and congresses.

More intimate, more theatrical: a black ceiling crossed by a curtain of crystal, chandeliers, and two LED screens either side of a white staircase that lights up. “Black from floor to ceiling”, said the former website. For receptions of up to 400, evening parties and showcases.
